MODECOM MC-SHF56 were designed for those seeking best possible audio experience from their PC speakers. It’s construction provides excellent sound performance and it’s classical outlook makes it a perfect match for any environment. MC-SHF56 owes its extraordinary sound quality to the active crossover system applied in this speaker set. In active crossover systems input signal is processed by the crossover to divide into separate signals with high frequencies signal for tweeter driver and medium-low frequencies signal for the mid-low tones driver. Such systems requires use of two separate amplifiers for each of the drivers, however each of them performs better than single full bandwidth amplifier.
Signal of each bandwidth is applied to the amplifier dedicated for each part of bandwidth and then directly to the specific drivers. Because the amplifier is connected directly to the drivers it is possible to achieve perfect matching of the amplifier to the specific driver unit in its full frequency spectrum. Also because the signal from the amplifier is applied directly to the driver it is possible to achieve much greater control of the driver. Speakers are enclosed in MDF board cabinets that offer great acoustics for the set.
To enhance the comfort of using our set, it comes with wired volume control with aluminum knob and backlit ring to indicate that the system is powered on. On the volume control you can also find additional signal input socket, which can be used to connect alternative sound source (for example MP3 player) without having to disconnect main sound source.
On the back of the active speakers you may also find Bass and Treble control knobs to adjust the sound to your own preferences
